This outfit somehow reminds me of how I broke through my comfort zone, wearing clothes that I once avoided. Prints were something I've never felt comfortable wearing, simply because it's just too flamboyant. But inspirational figures have made me felt the need to break through my safety barriers and be that someone I really want to be.
Enough of that emotional moments, but let me just rave about this blazer which I score off the sale rack at Zara few weeks back. Realised that the back portion of this blazer had a fuller and more amazing view of the baroque detail after the shoot. Oh well, I guess I'll have to get this shot more often to show you how gorgeously sick the print is another time!
And the clutch, which isn't exactly a clutch but more of a storage box, is pretty much a close resemblance (not really that close though) to Charlotte Olympia Pandora / Maison Martin Margiela transparent clutch which I can never afford. Thanks Bryan for letting me know about this 'clutch'! This acrylic/perspex trend has obviously take a toll on me, whereby I cango nuts still be sane when I spot an acrylic bangle or a thrifted transparent watch. Moreover, the idea of placing a rose in the clutch from Margiela's RTW 2011 seems to captivate me a lot in terms of the serenity and purity effect (this calls for something :D). Images all done by Imran.
