Alexander Wang

They glow... In the dark...

Alexander Wang has decided to bring sci-fi and cut-outs to his collection this season. Perhaps not very spring/summer-ish I guess, but who really cares, it was BOMB!!!

Deconstructed boots. Omg, I'm totally dying right now. Perfect to cool off our legs for the summer season, without compromising the edgy chic look. The garments, they all look so precise in the right amount of cut. Not too much, not too little. Just in the right amount. The zipper that runs down the middle with cut-out sections on the shirt just left me staring at the pieces for a very long time. And rewinding the show non-stop just to capture the beauty of it. A really bad thing to do though, but ohwell. Not to forget I was constantly staring and hyperventilating about those shoes as well (just like everyone else did I presume).

I'm spotting tons of oversized garments with longer-than-the-'norm' hemlines this season. Something that I'm totally into recently. Before the fashion week, of course (*winks*).

I was actually pondering on the methods Wang used to keep those destructed pieces together, whether he actually stuck them onto the models in pieces (stupid me) or whether he used some invisible, transparent-y fabric to connect them together (more like this). I have to say, I'm in love with the above pullover. Just hope my you-know-what would not expose if I happen to own them and werk in them.

Oooo, the boxy and voluminous cut-out tee-shirts (or more like leather tee-shirts) and jackets. I am secretly crying deep down because it's just too wonderful. It's the perfect cut for a tee that I was looking for. Oversized, check. Boxy, check. Sleeves that fall to your elbows that gets you confused between whether it's gonna be full length or just short, check. The boxy pullover dress reminds me of the Céline pullovers from the previous season. Omg, I think I really need to own one. The full on metallic ones, or the black and white v-neck hybrids? I need help, now.
