So a friend of mine was urging me to wear my neckparty (statement necklace) I got from Zara few months back. And yes, I have to admit, I haven't worn this necklace out at all. Not because I'm an accessory hogger (that's basically a lie) or lazy or whatsoever nonsense, but basically I was having my examination period so I simply couldn't find the time to wear it out.
Okay, that was a really lame excuse.
Played around with a little metallic green and neon yellow that were once famous hues from the colour palette from past seasons. Well, me being me, I simply couldn't just be decked in oxblood/burgundy throughout this season, simply because 1. That would be really sad, and 2. It isn't exactly my style to wear the same colour repeatedly (which I did in contrary, from the previous 2 consecutive outfit posts. But nevermind).
Denim is like a staple armory (in this case, the chest guard) that can never go out of trend. Somehow overrated yet underrated at the same time (spy
And I've yet to find the perfect ripped denim jeans.
And I know Figure B image isn't that model-esque, in fact I think I failed terribly trying to smize with the camera at ten in the night. But that's the best photo I have that shows most of the necklace. So bear with me please! :/
To put the cherry on top of the cake (is this phrase even accurate?), I've crossed casualness with formality by pairing a loosely buttoned denim shirt with a metallic tux trousers. Nothing beats casual chicness. Finally, I've found a type of style that I'm willing to settle on. But I can't safely bet on it because I'm constantly changing and I can't simply characterized myself into a particular style column.
Anyway, let's just say casual chic = me for now. ☺
