Spring Ideas

As we progress on with our daily lives, we usually subconsciously perform something that we'd never fail to: Contemplate. We do so often in times when we're waiting in line, daydreaming in between our mundane work life, en routing to our next destination, probably whilst styling our hair or even during important yet dry meetings. The art of thinking has subtly become a daily crucial aspect in our lives that sometimes if we were to stop thinking for perhaps five minutes, we'll have this innate and queasy feeling that we are slowly getting dumber. We have to use our sudden response (aka a form of thinking of what to do) to react to an immediate situation. Our minds are so vast with ideas and thoughts that I doubt one could actually stops thinking as a whole. Yet, there is no deny that there are times when we just want our minds to be filled with nothing but a white, blank space. However, if we were to take away cogitating as a whole from our lives, what kind of a denouement would we wind up in?

It is a blessing that we can think; thinking allows us to develop new ideas that we never imagined or expected. But sometimes, we tend to think a little too much. So much so that we are brimmed with a series of unanswered questions that render us to further evaluate or even with the needs to cogitate.

Despite us still being confined within the Winter season, I have already thought about what to wear for the upcoming Spring. Singapore might be in a constant summer weather and New York have just experienced their snow storm last Monday, but because of this 'blessed' (thinking) ability coupled with my prerequisite planning personality, I ideated some outfits for the next season in advance.

So here are two trends that were actually past season but I have decided to rock them this Spring. Firstly, we have the roll out of your bed pajamas look (mainly focusing on the pants) that might actually also be suitable for Summer and secondly we have a Virgin Mary meets Isabel Marant look (hint: white like a virgin). I took a Céline-esque trousers from Zara and matched it with the most simple garment in mankind's existence - the white t-shirt - and some sandals. As for the pseudo virginity look, I've decided to infuse a little bohemian in French's style with a tassel t-shirt from H&M, Isabel Marant Étoile jeans with red and blue stitching detail, Zara patent loafers and sealing off the look with a smart book clutch from a furniture store (it actually is a display piece).

As for new outfit ideas, are we (or am I) always early when it's some to pre-thinking?
