Style Inspiration: Elena Perminova

Images are from respective owners

Need me to say more? Go google Elena Perminova. A picture speaks more than a thousand words. The last figure displays her in Chloé S/S 2012, the most favourite look I love on her. I basically want to look like her, in my Carrie Bradshaw version.

Tommy Ton takes Milan

If you all took notice, style.com has decided to post a whole bunch of ineffable street style fashion photographed by none other than Tommy Ton (my favourite *winks*). And apparently, they did something really, I should say, not quite smart, by compiling all the pictures throughout the whole fashion week into a single album. This is just a disclaimer, in case I somehow took a photo from NY or London fashion week and raved about it in this post. Just drop me a - sweet - reminder to get it correctly sorted out. :D But I doubt I will so... Let's get started!

The obligatory sole protection glamour enhancer. Or in other words, shoes. Those funky Nicholas Kirkwood Face booties from Figure 1.2 are something to live for, and can never be crafted and proliferated effectively by any other brands. Perhaps not really, since it kinda resembles a more subtle version of those Dolce & Gabbana Face wedges.

I shan't further elaborate anymore about co-ords because I bet it'll bore you guys to death with my constant repetition of - insert bimbo accent here - 'Omg like look at this co-ord suit/shirt and trousers, it's like so amazing blah blah blah'.

But the sad truth is, I have exhaust all my knowledge and words on talking about co-ords. Secret revealed.

Casual Chic. Maybe not that casual for non (and maybe some) fashionistas out there. I think I'm gradually slanting towards the CCC, Casual Chic Category, but definitely not compromising my array of statement accessories because they are just obligatory. Figure 3.7 displays gorgeous Jimmy Choo's Surfer clutch with awesome arm parties, especially those palm tree ones that never fails to let me picture myself in Beverly Hills. I should totally cut down on my day-dreaming sessions. Nonetheless, I think I need a gold blazer. And some Boy Chanel if possible. Probably in 10 years time.

Not that I condone the habit of smoking, but the coats in Figure 4.1 and 4.2 is just remarkable. Totally worth the thumbs up. I would suggest watching this season's Burberry here, so that all of you would appreciate the beauty and importance of a coat (not that I'm saying you guys hate coats or something). In a tropical climate.

This Givenchy Resort shirt is my favourite piece of all. Look at those baroque x geometric print with flowly cut out sleeves, I simply couldn't resist but to search for this piece in all possible webstores I know, hoping that they would retail it. Guess lady luck wasn't with me. My OCD perhaps, going all gaga over a shirt? But who wouldn't go all out just to get something they like?

P/S: Now I have a feeling that this might be in London... Someone help me out please?

Street Style in NYFW

What's fashion week without a little street style? Street style to me, is one of the highlight (in simpler terms, it is like the cherry to the ice-cream; or is it cake?) during fashion week, where hundreds of fashionable individuals gather together to present different personalities through elaborated styles.

Group photo with your fashion mates? Totally into it!!! Look at the array of prints, simply gorgeous... *dreams* Snap my picture away!!!

In love with the different shades of blue that stands out from this outfit. The shirt, omg. I'm just speechless. And the Céline bag, totally complements the outfit. I need someone to tell me the brand of the shirt.

Dannijo Arm parties and Proenza Schouler clutch on Leandra Medine? Definitely thumbs up for the concept of man-repelling. (I really want to steal the clutch and the arm parties omgggggg)

I need my Collier de Chien now!!!!! This is the exact same one that I'm looking for! *sad kid*

Okay so I am totally, and I repeat, totally inspired by this outfit Taylor Tomasi Hill is wearing werkin'. I'm definitely going to hunt for the perfect sleeveless trench and rock it in my never-failng-to-make-one-perspire-like-a-pig country that is located right at the equator.

Elena and Mira. In denim cut-offs. I have to say, denim shorts are a staple, and they totally rocked this look. I think I need to be more smart in pairing up my denim shorts now. And I love the Kenzo sweater on Elena. And the clutch on Mira. And the statement necklaces, oh.my.god. (And look at their legs omg so flawless. And Elena's booty-tooch omg I'm dyingggg.)

Okay I saw this outfit when I checked my mail I received from Lookbook. Am totally loving the close to co-ord pairing of the BCBG jacket and the skirt. Plus, it's nude, so it's totally amaze-balls.

Oh.My.God. Isn't that the Alexander McQueen visor? God it's just drop dead gorgeous! This is where sci-fi meets femininity, a perfect combination of different styles. Now, where can I get the visor?

Am still in love with co-ords irregardless of any season. I mean, come on, quoted from the famous P'Trique, they put your 'chic-ness to the next lev', or maybe even make you 'look almost too chic'. Plus you don't even need to stress on what to pair it with. Maybe not, when you need to pair it with some awesome shoes and a bag.

She's working next season's trend already! That pretty quick, but I have to say, I love the combination of longer hemlines, with the little bit of extra pop with the shorts. Flawlessness would be reached if she had a Proenza Schouler PS11 in Tangerine. Now, if she could give me her outfit... Or maybe even just her shorts, I would be satisfactory... Or her hair...

The trend for Baseball Caps are emerging this coming season. Perfect to pair it up if you're having a bad hair day (not that I'm saying that she has bad hair or what), or you just want extra fun with a some bright coloured (above) or those bejeweled (from H&M) accessories from the other gender. Mix it with your Phillip Lim clutch for some bangin' action!

A little cute kicks with mixture of prints and clashing colours (maybe not that clashing) highlights a need for a pair of statement shoes. This is where beauty and comfort meets.

The 'It' bags. Carrying the appropriate bag that complements your outfit might be deemed as extremely crucial to one. But to me, carrying it to accentuate your fierce-ness (hahaha) is much more important. Just look at image two. A fierce fight between those two bold prints in loud colours. And I think it worked. Maybe not for some of you, but to me, it definitely did.

As one said, a picture speaks more than a thousand words. I bet I don't have to do any elaboration on how amazing Ton's street style photography are.
